The sprawling single-level home in Ohauiti features a pavilion-style, open-plan living area book-ended by two sleeping wings and 10 tonnes of Indonesian marble floor tiles purchased by the owners 10 years ago.

Venture Developments won a Gold Award and was Category winner for its entry in the Volume/Group Housing New Home up to $450,000 category with a four-bedroom brick and cedar clad home in Tauranga.

The Gold Award winners will now be judged against other Gold Award winners from around New Zealand to find the National Gold Reserve finalists.
