Good Neighbour update

Results are in from our fundraising concert the “Pati Brothers” the night was a huge success with $35,150.00 raised for Good Neighbour.

The audience was entertained by the amazing Bethlehem College Choir and Ryan and Emily Adern as the opening acts followed by the talented and internationally acclaimed Pene and Amatai Pati from SOL3 MIO a night to be remembered by everyone.

Well done everyone and we hope the audience was inspired with Good Neighbour’s vision for our city and are keen to help us on our journey.

School Gardens Blooming

We have had a huge month with new gardens popping up everywhere the “Garden to Table” national programme where children to learn to cook what they grow is proving popular in Bay schools. It’s just fantastic to see children inspired to learn about their food and enjoy getting their hands dirty. New Schools included – Gate Pa Primary, Tahatai Coast Primary and Mount Intermediate. Thanks to Daltons and Tui Gardening products for supporting the Garden Builds and this programme, we couldn’t do it without you. If you would like to volunteer in the gardens email gardens@goodneighbour.co.nz or become a volunteer on our website www.goodneighbour.co.nz To see more of our happenings keep an eye on our FB Page “Good Neighbour”
