Understanding clients’ needs

Derek and his young family moved to Tauranga from Dunedin 38 years ago, and fell in love with what the Bay has to offer. Much of his career has been involved in delivering high levels of innovative customer service and in training others in service delivery.

“Listening to and answering questions is the best way to understand a client’s needs so that you can determine how best you can be of service,” says Derek.

“Never promise and not follow through if you expect to develop the trust and respect of a client.”

Derek’s experience in market analysis, negotiation, sales and marketing ensures his clients are kept well informed.

His ideal day is meeting new clients, listening to and understanding how he may help them make an informed decision to get the best results whether they are selling, buying or investing in property.
