Take an old film, give it a new score, get four actors/musicians/sound effect specialists and you get the new movie genre: 4D!

In this fresh live take on the original ‘Little Shop of Horrors' movie, the actors are forced to work at break-neck speed in ‘Live Live Cinema – Little Shop of Horrors', coming to the Baycourt Theatre on Wednesday, September 16.

With Roger Corman's 1960 film playing as the backdrop, four performers do everything. Re-voicing the multiple on-screen characters in perfect lip sync, the musicians will play a new original musical score by Live Live creator Leon Radojkovic, under the direction of Oliver Driver, as well as creating live Foley sound effects designed by esteemed sound and Foley artist Gareth Van Niekerk.

Performers will be leaping from piano to guitar, bass to door bell – even to that thing that makes the sound of footsteps. The show features some of New Zealand's best performers, including Bryan Coll (the actor-comedian who is on the MasterCard ad with Richie McCaw), and Laughton Kora, ex-member of family band Kora.

Catch the show for one-night only on Wednesday, September 16. Please note the September 17 performance has been cancelled. For tickets, visit www.ticketek.co.nz
