If you are planning your Christmas menu then I suggest
you pick up a bottle of 2009 Trinity Hill Noble Viognier. It would be perfect to serve with a platter of lovely fresh seasonal fruit.

The 2009 harvest was superb for the development of botrytis with viognier in the Gimblett Gravels vineyards. The shrivelled grapes were hand picked and gently pressed to extract the sweet concentrated juice. The small amount of nectar is fermented in a mixture of French oak barrels and stainless steel until the fermentation is stopped while there was still a significant amount of sugar remaining. It is a lusciously sweet and intensely flavoured wine which is great for decadent occasions.
John Hancock from Trinity Hill is so fascinatingly knowledgeable when it comes to wine.
