Bike Wise month is now heading into its second week. Kicking off with some great events last week it was great to see cyclists getting out on their bikes.

Yesterday morning, 35 keen Mountain Bikers explored the new tracks and trails at the TECT All Terrain Park with Rasmus. It was great to see families and people of all ages and abilities enjoying the fantastic new park!

BK on the Classic Hits breakfast show is embracing Bike Wise month. All this week he will be broadcasting his show while riding his Tandem bike in the studio. I was lucky enough to join him on the back of the bike this morning, tune in to 95FM to listen.

Tonight we have more Mountain Biking happening with the Tauranga Mountain Biking Summer Series. Registrations start at 6pm at the Summerhill Recreation Farm Park in Welcome Bay.

These race nights suit all ages and abilities and are a great opportunity to find out what it's all about in a casual/social environment.

Tuesday night is the BMX Give it a Go night. Registrations from 5.15pm at the BMX track on Keith Allen Drive at Sulphur Point.
