With just one event left, Bike Wise month is heading to an end. It's been a fantastic month with over 28 different events in the community to take part in. Thanks and congratulations to everyone who has got on their bike this February, I hope you have all enjoyed being involved!

This Sunday, March 6 at 10am we are celebrating Bike Wise month with the finale Mayoral Bike Ride at The Lakes. Join Mayor Crosby, Mayor Paterson and Simon Bridges for a short ride through the great tracks and trails that help make Tauranga the most cycle-mad city. We have loads of prizes to give away including an Avanti Discovery bike and bike pack so come down and check it out. We will also be drawing the major prize for Bike Wise month so if you have entered any events over the month you are in to win! After the event feel free to take your bikes and explore more of the tracks and trails around The Lakes.

Entries are still open for the ‘Classic Hits Why I need a New Bike Competition' this is open for all Intermediate and Secondary School students. Let us know why you need a new bike and in the draw to win a new bike and loads of biking gear. Makes sure you send us a photo of your old bike with your entry.
