There is nothing quite like walking into a house with the aroma of fresh bread being baked. This has to be one of my favourite recipes to demonstrate. It is always sure to impress your friends and can be transformed into so many other flavours in a matter of seconds.
This beer bread recipe is one that once you have made it, you will not look back. Quick easy and no fuss!
1 can or bottle of beer approx 330mls
85 mls water
3 cups plain white flour
1/2 cup self raising flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup of grated cheese
1/3 cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes
Pre-heat oven to 200C, grease a loaf tin with spray oil. Mix all of the above in a dish stir until combined. Pour mixture into tin, bake for 45 minutes! You can add olives, honey and walnuts, rosemary and parmesan. Explore with different flavours, you won't be disappointed!
