Crisp wine for summer

I had a lovely glass of the Te Whare Ra Pinot Noir this week; I really do like the wine style that Anna and Jason Flowerday produce.

This week we are reviewing their Te Whare Ra 2010 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, which is a lovely fresh, crisp Sauvignon Blanc with grapefruit, white gooseberry and capsicum flavours.

It has moderately intense flavours which are supported by fruity acidity.

Anna says they produce the style of wine they like to drink. I am not a huge fan of Sauvignon Blanc, but I can see myself enjoying a glass or two of this one during summer.
