The fourth seminar in the 2011 Age Concern Seminar Series is on Tuesday, November 29 from 10.30am to 12pm at Bureta Park Motor Inn.
This seminar will cover a number of different topics, all related to how best to manage money.
The elderly are concerned to ensure their money is safe and that it provides them with the ability to maintain their standard of living without worrying about the security of that money or their ability in the future to pay their bills.
The seminar has speakers from a bank who will deal with the best way to manage bank accounts, the police who will talk about scams and other rip offs that target the elderly, a financial advisor who will deal with the management of investments and a lawyer who will cover family trusts and other ways in which money and investments can be owned and passed onto children, relatives and charities.
There will be an opportunity to ask questions and to talk to the presenters after the seminar.
Entry is by gold coin donation. Age Concern asks anyone who is interested in coming to phone Age Concern 07 578 2631 to reserve a space as the previous seminars in the series have been very popular and space is limited.
