Ten attitudes to transform 2010 into YOUR year, the year of healthy LIFEstyle choices, controlled eating plans and a routine and exciting exercise regime.

At the beginning of each year we all have great new ideas for change, make promises to ourselves and have new year resolutions with big plans to change and better our LIFEstyle from what had been executed the previous year. The secret is to adopt small changes of behaviour that can make a great difference; in the body and in the mind – changes that can set you up for LIFE.
For the next 10 weeks I will outline changes in attitude to help with your new year's resolutions and assist you on your way to a healthy LIFEstyle change.

New year, New LIFE
It is a great idea to make new year resolutions but we need to make sure that the resolutions and goals put in place are realistic and achievable – to establish ambitious goals excessively is what hinders them out of reach. However, to run away from this cycle it is necessary to know what is possible and to admit to our limitations. We don't want to fail at our resolutions and damage the self confidence we need to succeed and feel the sensation of a fulfilled mission.

A good friend of mine lives constantly by this motto: 'A goal without a plan is just a dream”.

Think of an achievable goal, write it down and put a timeline in place and work hard to achieve it. The goal may need to be re-evaluated along the way due to life's circumstances but make changes where needed and continue on your journey to achieve what you set out to do.
