Hello and welcome to the first week of our camps.
It's great to see prior and new faces at our May 17 LIFE Fitness Camp, with people very unsure of what to expect in the next 10 weeks.

Once I explain the new exercises, the new people say 'I can't' do this and the prior campers tell them: Luis does not let you say the word 'can't' and that they will be fine as everything in the training sessions 'is possible - nothing is impossible' to do (although I do allow for various injuries and limitations).
By the time I have finished explaining all the different techniques and exercises, I ask if everybody remembers, and if not to please raise their hands. No-one raises their hands so I ask again and still no response so then I send everybody to their stations and see the faces of these people who have no idea what to do.
Again I reiterate that they must start exercises slowly and correctly and work hard on posture. It's not about the fastest person, or the one who can lift the heaviest weights, I need above all, people to be safe, increase their fitness, and work on technique and posture.
As they begin, the new fitness campers' faces turn red and they realise that they need this.
The prior fitness people begin to regret not doing anything in the past four weeks since the last camp ended.
And the prior campers, who have continued to exercise, are grateful of that but are made to work even harder now to achieve new goals.
By the end of week one, everybody is excited as they know they will work hard in the next nine weeks - although it is going to hurt. The old and new love the experience and anticipate the end result.
The third and final training sees the combination of the morning and night groups, with upwards of 50-60 people in a room. Whilst some wondered how this was possible as the plan unfolded it was an amazingly executed session. The 10 weeks are all pre-planned and structured so that week by week everybody has a new target to work towards. Week two will see everybody focus on strength training. The intensity level will increase and the room will quieten down as everybody moves quickly and efficiently from station to station... until next week, please remember there is no magic formula, to succeed in LIFE fitness training you must work hard and eat well (check out Dawn's healthy recipes).
