Having just watched David Tua completely destroy Shane Cameron in a display of pure power, it made me think; you can train and prepare yourself to the point where you are confident that everything will be fine and then ‘BANG' along comes a left hook and everything changes just like that!

Somewhat like life really. The number of Kiwis that are so self confident they don't need life insurance as nothing will go wrong to them is staggering. I bet that many of these people haven't invested the amount of time that Cameron would have done for the preparation for the Tua fight. Like Cameron, these people have talked themselves up and have failed to take into account the pure power of the opposition. In life there are many obstacles that we all underestimate the power of.
Like the sad events in Samoa. An absolutely stunning place and such loving people, changed in a few seconds. People's lives decided by their reaction time and fate. With the death toll rising and now five Kiwi's holidays ending tragically, this is another lesson as to why one should never underestimate the power of the unpredictable nature of life.
Like Cameron feeling the powerful left hook of Tua, Samoa has felt the powerful left hook from nature.
So one doesn't know when the left hook of life will come out and knock you over. Make sure you have everything in order so that should you get knocked over, the after effects of the left hook will not ruin all your goals and plans, nor linger longer than it should.
