As mentioned last week the first of Bayleys' strategic conferences for the year took place in Queenstown in conjunction with Bayleys major corporate hosting at the Michael Hill New Zealand Golf Open.
Two auctions were held to raise funds for Bayleys' corporate charity – the Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind's Guide Dog Services. One was purely for Bayleys staff, a silent online auction offering a range of specific items up for bidding. This as always was competitively contested across all Bayleys offices and raised $29,000.
The second auction was live and was open to the greater public and our corporate clients being hosted at the golf. The items up for bidding were outstanding and featured a fantastic array of holiday packages throughout the country as well as associated tourism and hospitality attractions. A phenomenal combined total of $58,000 was raised. A fantastic effort for a very special and worthy cause.
The golf was fantastic as well.
