Finally, one of the most exciting weeks everybody has been waiting for. A new sensation occurs on these days – a boxing exercise programme. A lot of people like the idea of being able to throw some punches and lose weight at the same time as well as increased fitness and a great stress release. Boxing is considered one of the best fat burning exercises.

After a really intensive arms and legs week, the boxing comes in very handy as after six weeks training we decide to use boxing as fun and fitness combined.
One of the funny things is after the first session many people have come to me and said that they can't believe how sore they are and they had no idea it would be that tough.
Boxing and fitness is like one of those ‘Sweet Cocktails'. You feel like you are drinking something so sweet that you won't get drunk, but then once you stand up you realise it wasn't that easy. This is the same sensation when you have fun exercising – of course this is a better way as you don't have the hangover the next day. You may feel a little bit sore but that's part of life.
As we always say about fun and exercise; that it's all about the hormones you produce. When you do something out of your comfort zone, some people accept and produce better hormones or some block and can't produce anything, but that is human nature and we can't change that.
LIFE boxing fit is not about fighting, it's about creating the confidence and the skills and giving the tools for people to advance on their fitness levels. We incorporate all the skills we have used from previous weeks' training using arms and legs exercises with box skills, with partners so they learn how to punch and also hold the pads. Some of the people ended up holding the pad for somebody a lot stronger than they expected, but they still held on strong. The concentration on those boxing drills was very good as they understand if they don't FOCUS they are the ones who will suffer and that is because they will receive a punch if they look around. By the end of the boxing week the feedback was so good that it brings us to develop a Boxing Fit Camp which you will soon hear from us about.
