Finally eight weeks are up and definitely this week and the next two weeks will be some of the most exciting yet because many people are fitter and stronger. Those who don't feel like they are, well, they need to catch up and this will be the wake up call. Over the past eight weeks you have been seeing us training arms, legs, core, boxing cardio, interval, resistance and power training.
You have seen clients walking in with a smile and walking out almost feeling like dying, but this feeling is changing as they now walk in like they are dying and walk out with a slight smile!
In the back of their minds they are thinking I didn't think I could make it through tonight but I did!
As we are all human we move by emotions and feelings and once you see all the emotions and feelings bringing joy to the trainings we start to see results also. Some results are psychical, some are emotional.
One of the biggest examples of big change with the class is the corner. As you will remember in our second week, we talked about all clients walking straight to the corner as far away from me as possible. This has changed and now they go straight to the stations and help to set up and see what is in store for the session as now they like the pain!
Some may think this is crazy, but my explanation is this is fitness, once you have the drug in your system you get addicted and you can't stop. The only difference is this is keeping you away from the hospital bed not putting you in it, like other drugs and alcohol can do.
This week I tried something different. I brought for the winter fitness camp a nice outdoor sunny day. On this day I had some clients that had already done our summer camps – that were all outdoors – yet others have never experienced this. It was a nice experience for the new and great memories for the previous summer campers.
We can expect a nice and harsh two weeks coming up as some people are going to try to get all the results they can in the last two weeks and as I always say, ‘it's all about time as there are some things that are a learning process, that all human beings are going to make mistakes so if you try one thing in your life and you didn't succeed, don't give up as you may get a second chance'—don't limit your challenge –challenge your limits.
