This dish can be used as a main and served with a side of brown rice or cut up salmon and place on lettuce as a small entree. The sweet yet spicy nature of this dish makes it very enticing for most Seafood lovers.
Caramelised Salmon Steak with a Leafy Green Salad
2-4x salmon steaks
Marinate steaks in:
2x garlic cloves crushed
Juice and zest of one orange
4x Tablespoons maple syrup
1x teaspoon chilli paste
Cook in 250C oven for 4-8 minutes until caramelised and still pink in the middle.
Salad:
Baby Cos lettuce leaves
Chopped spring onion 1x Tablespoon Capers
2x chopped marinated artichoke
1x sliced avocado
½ sliced telegraph cucumbers
Place all salad ingredients on a platter and top with salmon steak.
Drizzle salad with olive oil and balsamic vinegar
