If you got it… flaunt it

Damn I am feeling good about life. It was so great to get one over the young German ‘whipper snapper'.

Monday morning the boss and I, with the apprentice boy and Ady, helped a mate eradicate a plague of pests on his farm, and with all my experience and superior hunting skills honed to a knife edge over the years, showed the young bitch how to hunt and retrieve.
She got so embarrassed at my superior skills she took off back to the van; much to the complete bewilderment of the apprentice boy. Look all I have to say on this matter is, 'who you gonna call?”
I will be first in line at the feeding bowl, (nothing really changes there) and my tail will be left alone, the true pecking order has been re-instated. One more thing though, if you want a job done properly – get a male to do it.
And on that topic, I was sent a couple of interesting things over the weekend,
(a) This is a real placement in a Sydney paper (below) sent to me by my mates in Australia, and possibly proves that they may have a sense of humour.
(b) This picture (above) has me a little confused; is it of shags ducking or ducks shagging? This is the sordid fornication that goes on in my neighbourhood. A dog can't even glance out his dogflap without having degradation and promiscuity flaunted in front of him.
Mind you, I had to climb on a chair, rest the 600mm telephoto lens on the cat's head, prop the dogflap open with his leg and select 1/1000 of a second at F40 to capture the scene. (I would have got away with a slower shutter speed had the damn cat kept still.)

Thai green fish curry

1-2 tsp lemongrass
2 tsp green curry paste
2 fillets fresh fish
1-2 packets udon noodles

Cut fish fillets into 2cm square pieces. Heat first thee ingredients in pan until hot. Add fish, cook 2 minutes. Add noodles and cook three minutes, or until hot and cooked through.
I hope you all enjoyed a superb few days, and caught a few rays. I know you all must have been at the beach because I have never in all my years seen the old town so quiet, and if you were enjoying the odd burnt sausage or two (why was I not invited?) long may the weather continue.
