The greatest conflicts are not between two people but between one person and him/herself. - Garth Brooks
When you are singularly focused on yourself, you find yourself living in fear because you are continually looking at your problems. And when this is where most of your focus is, then there is also the game of blame that you will be playing because you want to get rid of the fear and the belief is that it must be out of you, ie blame. We begin to stress, and the mind doesn't differentiate between the stress, fear and something that actually occurs. So there are two steps to take. Step into your fear and face it and then start looking outwards to what other people are doing and needing in your life and you will find that you gain more balance, which leads to more peace and the effort will bring its own reward.
Where is your focus? Is it balanced between yourself and those around you, or do you experience more fear than peace?
