Pinot Noir is the flagship for Martinborough Vineyard; a place established in 1980 by a small partnership with the main objective of producing world class cool climate wines from classical grape varieties.

Winemaker Paul Mason has a particular passion for making Pinot Noir and who bears a philosophy of ‘handcrafted excellence in wine'. With this in mind, the vineyard has focused on producing consistent and quality driven wines.
Martinborough Vineyard actively promotes sustainability using organic means wherever possible to limit environmental impact.
The 2009 Te Tera is a perfect example of all Martinborough Vineyard stands for. Sumptuous red fruit and spicy notes with nice smooth silky rounded tannins with layers of fruit and complexity coming through.
