Greerton's St Vincent de Paul is the place to be this month, with the store having a huge clearout, and each clothing item only $1 each for all of February.

'We have thousands of boxes of stock to sell, which we refill hourly,” says St Vincent de Paul area manager Lorna Edlin.

Lorna says with all Vinnies Stores existing to provide the revenue to help people, it means they can help people though the difficult times in their lives.

'We can help pay rent, provide whitewear, pay for school uniforms; we have a large foodbank – and nothing is foreign to us, we don't judge, we offer friendship and a listening ear.”

The Greerton store also needs more volunteers.

'Come and meet Sue and her team. Three hours weekly is all we need.

'Everyone has something to offer, so take the step to be part of a team that directly helps the community – our funds stay right here, helping our local people.”
