An unforgettable evening of Caribbean delights and charitable giving in support of Good Neighbour’s Life Skills Programme is on offer next Friday, July 5.

Caribbean Nights, a Flavourful Feast Fundraiser is the product of Good Neighbour teaming up with Pyes Pā pub Good Local – which is currently out of action due to an electrical fire but keen on doing good in their community before reopening.

Good Neighbour community engagement manager Angela Rogers says the event promises an evening of good food, great entertainment and a chance to make a difference in the lives of young people in our community.

“We wanted to create a good time and good vibes, so Caribbean Nights was a natural fit to bring warmth to the middle of winter.

“The evening will feature a three-course vibrant meal reflecting the lively colours and flavours of the Caribbean, live music from DJ Purs, captivating performances from Djembe drumming group Rhythms Of The Long Water, raffles and silent auction items offering an array of exciting items.

“[This is] all in support of Good Neighbour’s mission to empower youth and foster a sense of belonging within our community,” says Angela.

“Join us as we celebrate the spirit of giving and make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people in our community.”

The July 5 event is at the Cargo Shed in Tauranga City from 5.30pm. Tickets cost $95 each, or a table of six for $500 from Humantix.com or head to Good Neighbour’s Facebook page for more event information.
