The Marisco Vineyard's 2009 Noble Sauvignon Blanc has just won a gold medal at the Decanter Wine Awards London 2012.
I have to say I am not surprised to hear that it has won this award, this is a truly outstanding 'sticky”. It has good fruit up front with lots of residual sugar and honeycomb flavours, leading through to a perfect dry finish.
Serve it with a lemon meringue pie, or it's perfect with blue cheese or goats cheese. Try it this weekend!
