With the sale season on the horizon I thought I would give you a few tips on how to best buy gorgeous fashion no matter what your budget.

If you are a designer shopper and just looking for those few extra pieces your budget couldn't quite stretch to this season, now is the time to find those pieces that looked great on you, but not so good on your wallet!

In the sales find these pieces first, so you know you're not just buying them because they are such a good price, but because you loved them from the start.

Do your research first, head to their website and see if you can see what is still available, but do remember often stores won't have their entire range online, so if it's not there don't panic!

Call the store to be sure and they can put it aside for you so you know it won't get snapped up in the mean time.

If you're an experienced sale shopper you'll already know the favourite stores you like to head to, but don't be afraid to try somewhere new, you never know where you may find a gem.

Always look for the designer labels on sale and don't forget that these pieces are built to last. Quality over quantity is something everyone should adhere to!

They may have an email newsletter or text alert letting you know what specials are on that day. If you have a particular item in mind, request to be phoned when that item goes on special.
