The 2010 Marisco Vineyards Pinot Gris reflects the classical style that Marisco Vineyards strives for. Pinot gris requires a lot of time and passion and can quite often be a thorn in the side of the viticulturist, hence the name of this wine The Kings series ‘Thorn'.

Pour a glass and enjoy the lovely heady nectarine on the nose, fruit up front and a nice balance between the fruits. The minerality and acidity provide length and vibrancy. I particularly enjoyed the dry finish.

Perfect served with chicken or fish.
