I happened to be trying on a few things in Mrs Boss' wardrobe this week, when I was entranced by a wild creature living in the corner.

I was on the verge of despatching the furry critter when I realised it was not a pesky tree dwelling varmint, but her new possum fur hat.

Well I'll be darned. I've chased them and treed them and bitten and chewed various bits, even used one for a flutter board after the boss nudged it out of the Pohutukawa on the beach…but never thought of wearing one on my head.

I would have worn it to work to show Ady, but she'd have probably mistaken me for the mad aunt of Daniel Boone and starting taking potshots at my head with uncle's scatter gun.

Anyway, I'm not the only high fashion bitch out there, as your photos this week so nicely illustrate.
