Flo is progressing well after another round of surgery, thanks to the excellent care at Mount Vet Hospital.

Izzy enjoys sand and surf. Stuart Mason. Papamoa beach.

Jorg and the team at 0800 VETCALL have done a wonderful job of patching up our girl, after she ruptured saliva ducts in her throat, we suspect in a high-speed collision with an immovable object during her bush whacking adventures.

The well-equipped vet ambulance has been quick on the scene to administer first class treatment. I've been watching from a safe distance (in case they try any of those surgery moves on me) and I have to report this is a fantastic service that can treat animals right at your own home.

So the newshounds have been pretty much confined to barracks in recent weeks, while Flo recovers.
Don't tell her, but I've had a few sneaky sessions out with the boss. It isn't the same without my partner, but hey, someone has to keep the wildlife in check.

Fortunately, our deputy dogs out there have been keeping us informed of their adventures. Check out these photos from our readers. - Ady
