A spaniel from Welcome Bay, named Doug, was left unattended for a time in his backyard recently and completed a very nice hole in the lawn, near the fence. His owners are reported to be looking into it.
A retriever from the Mount is fixated with the washing machine. Dog psychologists report it all started when he heard his owners were attending spin class.
Dogs in Papamoa have been lining up at the local mall. They heard there's a Barkers sale coming up.
Meanwhile in Katikati, several dogs have started a petition to have the name of the town changed, claiming it is animalist.
A dachshund from Otumoetai, Schlong, has been avoiding the local school, since he heard they were raising funds with a sausage sizzle.
In Ohauiti an enthusiastic bitzer named Wagmore is in trouble for chewing a rugby ball. He just wants to be an All Bark.
Len Brown's dog is depressed and reported to be in counselling. She overheard a conversation in which Mrs Brown said: 'If I catch you out with that bitch again, there'll be big trouble...”
Not many sleeps left now until Santa Paws arrives. Hope you all have proper plans if your persons are going away without you in the holidays. Make sure all your shots are up to date and the nice vet has given you a Warrant of Fitness check, flea treatment
and worming. Good stuff!
