Retirement brings about so many interesting opportunities. Not only do you have to work out where you are going to spend that retirement fund you have put together, but you also have to come up with activities to fill your days. While many of you will continue to do some work, there are others who want to take a well-earned rest.

The options are endless and it really is up to you, but you should take some time to work out the type of things you like to do. Whether it is travelling, golf, spending time with family, reading or chocolate fish-eating contests – think about it now. The money you've saved will help you facilitate the activities you choose. Let you adviser worry about things like interest rates, maturities, reserve bank statements and other financial stuff you have probably avoided your whole life anyway.

Keep having fun, as you know life is too precious to waste.
