I recently attended the unveiling of interpretation signage at the Mission Cemetery. Last weekend I spoke to some visitors who were reading the information panel and they said how much they appreciated learning about the history of Tauranga.

Tauranga is rich with history and signage. This one at the Mission Cemetery is invaluable for locals and visitors.

Anzac Day services planned for Friday, April 25 are:

Service at the Cenotaph, Memorial Park, 9am.

RSA Dawn service 5.45am at Hayes Avenue, Greerton.

Tauranga Cemetery Service at Pyes Pa Cemetery. 10.30am.

Mount Maunganui RSA Dawn Parade, 5.45am assembly at Mount Drury Reserve.

Mount Maunganui RSA Memorial Service, 9.15am.

Council's annual submissions have now closed. The elected members look forward to reading your submissions and listening to you, if you have chosen to come in and present your submission in the Chamber.
