Tauranga’s Inachord Singers are inviting the community to an afternoon experience celebrating love, hope and belonging, while supporting local charity Good Neighbour.

The women’s community chorus will present Let Love Be Heard at St Peter’s in the City on October 17, at 2pm.

Team leader Nardia Lloyd-Ashton said the event was designed as more than a traditional choir concert, combining music, storytelling and moments of connection.

“This concert explores how love draws people together by celebrating joy, hope, belonging and courage.”

The non-auditioned chorus welcomes women of all musical abilities and aims to build confidence, friendship and community through singing.

Chorister Crystal Henry said the group was excited to share the diverse programme and its layered harmonies with the audience.

Raffle proceeds and a portion of ticket sales will support Good Neighbour.

Tickets start at $10 through Humanitix or at the door. Children under 12 are free.
