Bouquets to council for running a series of workshops asking how to make Tauranga more aged-friendly.
The workshops focused on services, such as transportation, access to health facilities, parking, community support, security, and so on. These are mostly provided if one lives in a retirement village and it could be argued that a city well-supplied with retirement villages is already an aged-friendly city.
