The place to find something for everyone

Some of the gorgeous wares available at the Waihi Beach Art and Craft Fair.

If you're looking for something to do over the Queen's Birthday weekend, why not combine art and craft with a weekend away in Waihi Beach.

The iconic Waihi Beach Art and Craft Fair is back again for the 14th year, and organisers say they have recruited a huge number of new stall holders, with new and exciting crafts to tempt visitors.

There is something for everyone, from pet accessories and designer jewellery to clothing for the whole family.

Kids will be charmed by dolls, toys, bears and wooden playthings, and adults can look at redecorating their homes with art, photography prints, shabby chic homewares, graphic art and upcycled glass garden art.

Or find the perfect present with a selection of soaps, herbal creams, candles, diffusers, trendy knitted garments, scarves, hats, preserves, handbags and handmade alpaca products available for your perusal.

Doors open at 10am on Sunday, June 3, and the fair will be open until 3.30pm.

The old style cafe will again be run by the hardworking ladies volunteering from the RSA, providing refreshments for you to enjoy as you sit and chat with friends while visiting the fair.

This fair is different every year, so make sure you come back again. If you haven't been before, it's time to come and see the fair that everyone is talking about.
