The future and options for the council building are many and varied. The possibilities are endless and range from fixing the existing building to leasing, re-building on existing site or combine with another project and potentially a private/public partnership. Location is yet to be determined.

A Civic Campus Project Steering Group comprised of Councillors Bev Edlin, Leanne Brown and Gail McIntosh are meeting regularly to discuss.

I am looking forward to engaging with the wider community on their ideas and feedback.

How we achieve the outcome with minimum ratepayer funding will be a key consideration from my perspective.
