Long time resident and highly respected photographer Alf Rendell, in conjunction with local Historian Fiona Kean, have produced a new book ‘Rendell's Tauranga – Historic Tauranga from Above'.

This beautiful book is available for sale at Books-A-Plenty in Grey Street. Legacy Trust sponsored the publication, which captures the history of Tauranga.

Mr Rendell was reminiscing and telling me that his father, also a keen photographer, had many photographs taken on glass slides but unfortunately many were used by his brother, a professional gardener, and others for germinating seeds.
